Investigations, analyses, and teamwork

As an insurance investigator focusing on dental care control, you are responsible for reducing incorrect disbursements within the state dental care support. You make a legally secure and factual assessment in each individual case to detect and manage the healthcare providers who make incorrect disbursements of the state dental care support. You review and analyze information in dental care cases and then make decisions about the correct compensation according to applicable rules and processes.

In your work, you primarily have contact with dentists or other dental care personnel who have applied for compensation for patient visits. Contact with patients may also occur. You also collaborate with other relevant functions within the Swedish Social Insurance Agency and other authorities. You alert internal and external partners about cases where compensation has been paid out on incorrect grounds.

As an insurance investigator, you are part of a team that plans and distributes the work. You actively work to develop your knowledge and share your experiences. The job also includes handling phone calls, including a small portion of scheduled calls, and emails within the entire dental care area.

The position involves handling confidential information, which places high demands on proper handling. Therefore, it is important that you, who will work with us, have a high level of security awareness.

  • has a university degree or experiences and qualifications that can be deemed equivalent
  • is stable and has the ability to create trust
  • acts on their own initiative and takes responsibility for results with high quality
  • has a methodical and systematic approach to work
  • can understand and analyze complex issues
  • collaborates effectively with others to achieve common goals
  • has good communication skills, both verbally and in writing
  • has a good ability to use a computer as a working tool.

It is meritorious if you

  • have worked with qualified investigations and made decisions that affect individuals, preferably in a government agency
  • have worked with control work
  • have good knowledge in economics and accounting
  • have worked against benefit fraud or incorrect disbursements.

A number of positions, permanent, full-time, with start date according to agreement. A probationary period may be applicable. In accordance with the Swedish Social Insurance Agency's security guidelines, background checks will be conducted in this recruitment.
